<p>The 1SMB16AT3G is a unidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode manufactured by onsemi. It is designed for general-purpose circuit protection against voltage transients. The device features a reverse standoff voltage (Vwm) of 16V and a clamping voltage of 26V, with a peak pulse current rating of 23.1A. The peak pulse power dissipation is 600W.</p><p> </p><p>This TVS diode uses a Zener breakdown mechanism to clamp transient voltages and protect sensitive electronics. It is not designed for power line protection, as the power line protection specification is marked as "No".
