NCP3712ASNT1G

The NCP3712ASNT1G is an Over Voltage Protected High Side Switch from On Semiconductor, designed to protect loads from transients by isolating the load from the transient energy. It features active turn-off for fast input transient protection and automatic recovery after the transient decays below the threshold.

Key electrical specifications include a maximum continuous output load current of -300 mA, a maximum input-to-output voltage of 105 V, and a maximum junction temperature of 125°C. The device operates over an ambient temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and can withstand input transients up to 105 V peak. The over voltage protection threshold is set using an external Zener diode, providing flexibility for different applications.

The switch is capable of switching loads up to 200 mA without an external Rboost resistor. It also features a guaranteed off state with the Enbl input and extremely low saturation voltage. The device is ESD resistant to 2000 V Human Body Model.
