<p>The ESD8101FCT5G is an ultra-low capacitance ESD protection diode designed by On Semiconductor for protecting high-speed data lines from electrostatic discharge (ESD). It offers a working peak reverse voltage of 3.3V and a breakdown voltage range of 5.5V to 8.6V at 1mA. The device features a typical clamping voltage of 10V under TLP conditions at 16A and 8.0V under an 8/20µs pulse at 7.1A. With a dynamic resistance of 0.46Ω, the ESD8101FCT5G provides low clamping voltage to protect sensitive circuits.</p><p> </p><p>This diode meets IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4 standards, providing ±23kV contact and air discharge ESD protection. Its ultra-low capacitance, typically 0.2pF (maximum 0.4pF at 0V, 1MHz), minimizes signal attenuation and ensures signal integrity on high-speed data lines such as USB 3.0/3.1, MHL 2.0, and eSATA interfaces.</p><p> </p><p>The ESD8101FCT5G comes in a compact 01005 (0402 metric) surface-mount package with a 2-DSN (0.44x0.23) supplier device package. It operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to +150°C and is RoHS compliant, Pb-Free, and Halogen Free/BFR Free. This device is suitable for a wide range of general-purpose ESD protection applications where space is limited.</p>
