The humidity sensor is used in HVAC technology to monitor humidity and temperature. The measured values are output by the humidity sensor via the RS485 interface. The clamp meter is the ideal measuring device for measuring voltages up to 1500 V AC/DC and currents up to 1000 A AC/DC. The current measurement with the clamp meter is inductive. To do this, the supply line is placed in the clamp meter. This has the particular advantage that the current can be measured during operation. This means that the clamp meter is used, for example, for maintenance work on a photovoltaic system. Photovoltaic systems consist of many different solar cells that are connected in series with one another. Here, the current clamps can be used to measure the individual currents of individual rows in order to limit possible errors.
In addition to normal voltage and current measurements, the clamp meter can also measure the inrush current. Inrush currents are currents that are particularly high when the device is switched on. These currents arise when motors start up for ventilation systems, for example, or when stadium lighting is switched on. This measurement with the clamp meter is particularly important for dimensioning the supply line and fuses. Frequency converters are converters that output the voltage on the primary side with a changed frequency and amplitude on the secondary side. With the clamp meter and the VFD measurement function, measurements can be carried out up to a frequency of 45 Hz ... 1 kHz.
The clamp meter also has a Bluetooth 4.0 interface. With this interface on the clamp meter, a connection to an Android and iOS device can be established. With the free “Meterbox Pro” app, the values measured by the clamp meter can be displayed and saved for later analysis.
With the data logging function, the clamp meter can save all measured values at any set interval. After a measurement, the values can be graphically displayed using the clamp meter. Each individual measuring point can also be read individually from the clamp meter. The storage capacity of the clamp meter has a size of 16 groups and a total storage capacity of 100,000 measured values. With the clamp meter, the measured value is saved with the date and time.
The clamp meter can be expanded with an optional current clamp. The additional current clamp to the clamp meter is flexible and can therefore be adapted to the measuring task. With the extended clamp-on ammeter, current measurements of up to 3000 A AC can be carried out. The flexible current clamp is connected to the voltage input of the clamp meter. The Force Gage is a portable, hand-operated device that measures the force required to pull a specific test diameter of coating from a substrate using hydraulic force. The measured force is shown on the LCD and represents the adhesion strength of the coating to the substrate. This device is used to evaluate the adhesion (peel strength) of a coating by determining the maximum tensile force it can withstand before it peels off. Breakage points, which appear as cracks along the weakest layer in the system of carrier, adhesive, coating layers and substrate, are visualised by the Force Gage.
Equipped with a hand-operated hydraulic pump, our Force Gage enables precise and repeatable application of the required tensile force. Thanks to a selection of different dolly sizes, the device can be flexibly adapted to different test requirements, making it particularly versatile.
In addition, the Force Gage offers a mini-USB interface for easy transfer of measurement data to external devices. The data can be saved in practical CSV format, which enables easy processing and analysis. The clamp meter has a measuring range of 0… 1000 A AC/DC. The current is measured inductively using the clamp on the measuring device. Live supply lines with a diameter of up to 32 mm (1.2") can be connected to the clamp meter. With the optional Rogowski coil, the measuring range of the clamp meter can be extended to up to 3000 A AC. The clamp meter has sub-functions for current measurement. The inrush current can be measured with the clamp meter. This is a particularly important function, as motors such as those installed in ventilation systems or hall lighting require a particularly high current when switched on.

Hydrogen not only offers possibilities as an energy carrier and energy storage that have not been used so far. Due to its physical properties, it is also ideally suited for detecting leaks. With its hydrogen-selective sensor, the gas detector can detect the smallest leaks with a very low leak rate. Containers or lines that do not contain hydrogen can also be checked for leaks with the gas detector if they are filled with test gas containing hydrogen and then checked for leaks. The forming gas with five percent hydrogen and ninety-five percent nitrogen, which is already commercially available for other technical purposes, is well suited for leak tests.
Each time it is switched on, this gas measuring device automatically records the current hydrogen concentration in the environment and then only evaluates changes related to this concentration. The reset button does the same during leak detection. If the leak cannot be clearly identified, although all the indicator LEDs are already lit, the current hydrogen concentration can be set as the base value using the reset function and the position of the leak can be better localized. The gas detector can then be reset to low output values in an unloaded environment by means of a reset.
Regardless of the level of the initial concentration, one of three different sensitivity levels can be set on the gas detector at the touch of a button. The selected sensitivity is indicated by the lighting up of a labeled LED. The "H" stands for high, the "M" for medium and the "L" for low. The hydrogen content in normal ambient air is .5 ppm. The sensitive device already recognizes concentrations of less than 5 ppm, i.e. .5 percent.
The sensor is arranged at the head of a semi-rigid 4 centimeter long hose so that it can be easily guided to the component to be tested. To search for leaks, the sensor is slowly moved as close as possible along the points to be examined. If the gas detector detects a leak, an alarm tone sounds and additional indicator LEDs light up. The higher the recorded hydrogen concentration compared to the base level, the more indicator LEDs light up.
With the four standard batteries, the gas detector has an operating time of around twelve hours in normal use. To save the batteries, the device shuts down after ten minutes if the automatic switch-off is activated. A control lamp shows that the batteries are low. The built-in sensor has a limited service life. Under normal conditions of use, it can be used for leak detection over a period of more than a year. Correct function can be tested regularly with test gas. If the sensor no longer reacts reliably, it can simply be exchanged for a new one.
The gas detector is not suitable for use in potentially explosive areas. It must therefore not be used if higher concentrations of hydrogen or other ignitable gases are to be expected in poorly ventilated areas. Above a certain concentration, hydrogen is one of the most dangerous ignitable gases because it requires little ignition energy. The lower explosion limit LEL for hydrogen is four percent.

The Temperature Logger PCE-HT 3 is a laboratory Temperature Logger for temperature, dew point and humidity. The data logger stores the measurement data on an internal 16 GB memory in CSV format. The memory is read by the Temperature Logger via the micro-USB interface.
