The RS232 TTL interface converter is a device-independent solution for converting an RS232 signal into a TTL signal. The RS232 TTL interface converter can also be used to convert a TTL signal into an RS 232 signal. If, for example, the RS232 TTL interface converter is to be used to evaluate the data output of a scale, which communicates via RS232, with the help of a microprocessor, the RS232 TTL interface converter can now be interposed between the transmitter and receiver.
When converting the signals, the RS232 TTL interface converter enables a transmission speed of up to 115,200 baud. The baud rate itself does not have to be set for the RS232 TTL interface converter. This is set by the RS232 TTL interface converter itself. In addition to converting a parallel signal, the signal can be switched to a crossed signal via the RS232 TTL interface converter by setting the switch. Thus the RS232 TTL interface converter can be used universally and quickly.

With this portable Bluetooth profilometer - roughness tester, you can quickly and precisely measure the roughness of a wide variety of surfaces. To do this, the roughness meter with Bluetooth is placed on the surface to be tested. With the positioning device, the roughness meter can be aligned on a wide variety of surfaces. A measurement with the Bluetooth roughness meter can be carried out at the touch of a button. After the measurement has been carried out, the measured value is shown to the operator on the display of the Bluetooth roughness meter. A progress diagram of the surface is also shown on the display.
When measuring the surface roughness, there are various measurement parameters that provide information about the roughness of the surface, for example the maximum roughness depth, the mean roughness depth and many other measurement parameters. After a measurement has been carried out, these can be displayed in the data memory of the Bluetooth roughness meter.
After each measurement of the roughness, the recorded measured values are saved in the roughness meter with Bluetooth. Up to 20 measurement sequences can be saved with the Bluetooth roughness meter. In order to process or analyze these further, the Bluetooth roughness meter can be connected to a PC via the micro-USB interface and read out, analyzed and further processed using the free software in the download portal.
This roughness meter has a Bluetooth interface. This Bluetooth interface can be used to establish a direct connection with an Android device. This has several advantages. The stored data can be displayed and analyzed directly on the Android device. The measured values measured by the Bluetooth roughness meter can also be exported and forwarded by the mobile device. In addition to transferring the measured values, it is also possible to control the Bluetooth roughness meter via the connected mobile device. This means that the measurement parameters can be set directly on the roughness meter with Bluetooth. At the same time, a measurement process can be started with the Bluetooth roughness meter via the Bluetooth interface. This has the particular advantage that, in contrast to starting via the buttons on a roughness meter, no vibrations are transmitted to the Bluetooth roughness meter. As a result, the operator receives a more precise and at the same time more reliable measurement result from the Bluetooth roughness meter.

The unique feature of this Thermometer is the possibility of a remote connection via a WiFi network, e.g. to a smartphone from which the Thermometer can be set remotely or the recorded thermal images can be saved directly to the end device. Once a smartphone is connected to the Thermometer via WiFi, the corresponding colour palette, emissivity or even the display of the maximum and minimum value can be set remotely. Thanks to the Thermometer, not only heat losses but also leaks in water and heating systems or non-functioning mechanical components of various systems (motors, bearings, belts, heat pumps, etc.) can be easily detected.

The ultrasonic flowmeter has a measuring range of ±32 m/s. With an accuracy of ±1.5 % f.s. for a pipe diameter of DN ≥50, ±3.5 % f.s. for a pipe diameter of DN <50 and a reproducibility of ±0.5 % f.s., the ultrasonic flow meter is a particularly precise measuring device. An installation aid is available for installing the sensors of the ultrasonic flow meter. The installation aid graphically displays the signal quality of the ultrasonic flow meter. In addition, it is graphically displayed whether the sensors of the ultrasonic flow meter are positioned at the correct distance from each other. To carry out flow measurements with the ultrasonic flow meter, the flow velocity, the volume flow and the volume are displayed after entering the pipe and medium specifications. The ultrasonic flow meter displays the measured values in a wide range of units. For example: m³, l, gal, igl, mgl, cf, bal, ib and ob.
During a measurement, it is possible to record the measured values via the data logger function of the ultrasonic flow meter. Start and stop conditions and the storage interval from 1 second to 12 hours can be set for the ultrasonic flow meter. A memory point of the ultrasonic flow meter contains all measured values once. The measured values are stored on the 32 GB built-in memory of the ultrasonic flow meter. 10 million measuring points can be stored on the ultrasonic flow meter.
With the optional software, the recorded measured values can be read out from the ultrasonic flow meter. For analysis, the measured values from the ultrasonic flow meter can be displayed in tabular and graphic form. For further processing of the measured values from the ultrasonic flow meter, they can be exported in .csv file format. Alternatively, a PDF report can be created via the software. For simplified operation, the ultrasonic flow meter can be set via the software. A live view of the measured values from the ultrasonic flow meter is also possible with the software.
In order to determine the amount of heat with the ultrasonic flow meter, two additional thermocouples are required. These are available with the PCE-TDS 200+. The two thermocouples of the ultrasonic flow meter are connected to the flow and return of a pipe system. Based on the temperature difference and the measured flow rate, the ultrasonic flow meter can determine the amount of heat. If required, the ultrasonic flow meter can calculate and display the costs per heat quantity unit simultaneously during the measurement. Thus, the ultrasonic flow meter is used, for example, in the inspection of heating systems.
The LC colour display of the ultrasonic flow meter has a size of 2.8" and is therefore easy to read.

Optionally, the ultrasonic flow meter can be equipped with an ISO or DAkkS calibration certificate.

PCE Instruments
This Ultrasonic testing device with special sensors for various applications. In general, the wall thicknesses of all homogeneous materials can be measured with the thickness meter. For damping or scattering materials such as plastic or cast a special sensor is available. An angled 90° sensor also enables measurements at hard-to-reach measuring points. The speed of sound can be set freely on the thickness meter and thus adapted to a wide variety of materials.
The measured values are displayed directly on the easy-to-read TFT color display. Due to the internal memory, which can be read out via the optionally available software, different measuring points can be clearly stored. The non-destructive ultrasound measuring method enables the measurement even on end products. Thanks to the Echo-Echo working mode, even coated workpieces can be measured (only with PCE-TG 300-P5EE sensor).

The thickness gauge can measure material thicknesses up to 300 mm / 11.81". So that the material thickness of a wide variety of homogeneous materials can be measured, it is possible to store the corresponding speed of sound in the thickness gauge. For materials such as steel, aluminum, zinc, silver and gold, the appropriate sound speeds are already stored in the device library. This means that the thickness gauge can be used universally.
With the limit value function in the thickness gauge, individual maximum and minimum values can be stored. If the measured value of the test piece is outside the limits, the thickness gauge signals this visually. If necessary, the signaling can also be done acoustically by the thickness gauge in addition to the visual display. This is why the thickness gauge is used, for example, in quality assurance and in incoming goods inspections.
The thickness gauge has a data memory on which the measured values can be recorded. After a measurement sequence, the stored measurement values can be analyzed directly on the thickness gauge. The stored data are graphically displayed by the thickness gauge. In addition, each individual measuring point can be approached and read in the graphics of the thickness gauge. For a simplified analysis of the measured values, the average, the largest and smallest measured value is displayed on the thickness gauge. The thickness gauge can optionally be equipped with an ISO calibration certificate.

The turbidity meter is a portable device for measuring turbidity according to ISO 7027. This allows the user to quickly and easily determine important water parameters with the turbidity meter and to check the quality of drinking water and waste water. The calibration of the turbidity meter is very easy due to the calibration standards supplied. The calibration can be carried out with 7 preset points. In addition, user-specific calibration points can also be set. The turbidity meter is capable of measuring turbidity of liquids up to 2000 NTU.
Furthermore, the measuring unit can be switched to EBC (European Brewery Convention) or ASBC (American Society of Brewing Chemists). The measured values are displayed on the large color display. The turbidity meter is mainly used in the laboratory and is therefore operated with a plug-in power supply. Via the rear USB interface, the turbidity meter can be connected to a computer and the memory can be cleared.
What is the EBC or European Brewery Convention? (See above in the picture gallery) As EBC, the color or the color intensity of beer and wort is described in Europe. This set value describes how much light is absorbed by beer with a certain original wort content. The turbidity meter can determine this value and thus helps in judging the type of beer.

The material thickness meter is used for non-destructive material testing. When testing with the material thickness meter, ultrasonic waves are sent through the test object using a probe. The ultrasound is reflected and scattered at interfaces of different materials with unequal density and wave impedance. After determining the transit time of the ultrasound through the test object, weld seams can be tested, wall thicknesses measured and component defects localised with the ultrasonic testing device.
With adjustable frequencies between 0.5 ... 20 MHz and sound velocities between 1000 ... 15000 m/s, measurements can be carried out in steel in the range between 0 ... 10000 mm. DAC and AVG evaluation methods, display and probe delay, attenuation and amplification functions, export and report generation functions as well as numerous other setting options make non-destructive material testing with the material thickness meter considerably easier. The tester has a video recording of the screen. The software can then be used to call up the data and create a report. The setting parameters can be changed using the rotary knob. The 5.7-inch colour display provides a clear presentation of the test results.
The ultrasonic tester is a powerful measuring device that has been designed for appropriate tests. Robust and ergonomic design enables use under industrial conditions. Weighing just 1.1 kg, the material thickness meter can not only be used as a desktop device but is also suitable for mobile use.

The vibration analyzer is used as a hand-held measuring device for the individual assessment of vibration on machines and systems. With the help of this vibration analyzer the actual state can easily be determined on-site. Thus, corresponding changes can be made directly on site after the measurement. Thereafter, the new condition can also be assessed. Thus, the vibration analyzer serves as a measuring device for a relative measurement on different machines.
The vibration analyzer is essentially for precautionary or preventive maintenance of production machines. This vibration analyzer is used for rapid measurement of imbalance and for checking bearing and gear conditions. Very often, the vibration analyzer is also used to assess the status of smaller electric motors.

High quality videoscope with very small camera diameter
Due to its small camera diameter, the allows detailed inspections without time-consuming disassembly even in very confined spaces and small access openings. Due to the robust construction of camera and endoscope cable, the high IP 67 protection rating and the temperature resistance up to 80 degrees Celsius, the videoscope can be used in many cases even during operation and without time-consuming preparations. The flexible camera cable, which is only 2.2 mm thick, is about one meter long, from the front edge of the camera head to the rubber coating in the connection area on the motor block. This allows the to inspect the inner surfaces of narrow pipelines and ducts and complicated components that can only be accessed through very small boreholes.
The real-time image displayed by the videoscope on the 7-inch display not only allows the user to check the object condition at the particular location, but also provides good orientation when the endoscope cable moves. LEDs located next to the camera can be switched on in steps to improve the visibility of the displayed area. Brightness, contrast and resolution of the display can be adjusted to the respective situation via the corresponding function menu. The camera is not installed in the direction of the cable axis, but at a 90-degree angle to it. The highest image sharpness is achieved for the objects in the range of 5 to 50 mm distance.
The position and field of view of the side-mounted camera can be changed by rotating, sliding or retracting the camera cable. In the places where there is enough space, the camera head of this videoscope can also be bent in any free direction with the aid of a motor-assisted joystick. The maximum bending radius is 23 mm with a bending angle of 90 degrees. In order not to impair the mobility of the camera head, care must be taken to ensure that the bent endoscope cable is not subjected to excessive stress. If the cable encounters resistance, it should not be pushed, pulled or twisted further in this direction, but relieved.
If required, the same basic unit can be used with different camera cables. These can be connected, locked and released very easily. This means that different areas can be conveniently viewed and documented during the inspection with the same videoscope. The user therefore does not have to purchase an additional basic device and also has less effort on site and when merging and evaluating the image data.
A videoscope of this series, complete with camera unit and battery, weighs only a little more than two kilograms and can be held comfortably with one hand. The joystick and almost all function keys can be operated with the same hand, while the endoscope cable is carefully moved to the desired location with the other hand. To improve working conditions during longer inspections, the videoscope is equipped with attachment points for tripod and shoulder strap.
Motor and joystick
One of the special features of this series is the motor-assisted bending of the camera head. The motor block, camera cable and camera form a single unit that can be used to control the bending of the movable camera head via the joystick on the handheld unit. By bending the camera head, the camera's viewing direction can be easily directed to other locations near the current camera position.
Touchscreen functions
The videoscope allows direct comparison of live images with previously stored images via the picture in picture function. The touchscreen makes it easy to rotate and mirror the images and to insert markers and comments. It also provides very convenient and quick access to the menu functions. Sections of the displayed image can be digitally enlarged very easily on the touchscreen. This works by double-tapping the area of the image or pulling it apart with two fingers. The zoomed section can also be moved with the finger. This allows each image to be checked very precisely on the videoscope and compared with a selected template.
Any coloured markings can be drawn onto the saved image at the desired points simply by using the finger on the touchscreen. The modified image can then be saved with the old name or under a new name. In addition, the video endoscope offers a choice of fixed and configurable image stamps and a log function that can be used to generate reports and save them in PDF format.

The 4-way system makes it possible to move the camera head from the videoscope in a 190° bending radius. The viewing angle of the borescope is 120°. It is controlled via a joystick, which controls the electric motors on the boroscope. Thanks to the particularly narrow camera head with a diameter of between 2.2 and 6 mm, the borescope can be used for endoscopy in engines, firearms, bores and other narrow openings, for example. This means that weld seams, wear and tear and damage can be assessed quickly and easily with the boroscope in order to make quick diagnoses. The sheathing of the endoscope cable from the borescope consists of braided tungsten. The borescope camera head is made of titanium alloy. This makes the endoscope cable from the borescope particularly robust. The boroscope is therefore used in engineering offices, quality control and for expert opinions.
The touch screen of the videoscope has a size of 7". The resolution of the borescope display is 1920 x 1200 pixels. Thanks to the touchscreen, easy operation of the borescope is guaranteed. If required, the live image from the borescope can be transmitted to an external screen or beamer via the HDMI interface. In addition, approx. 285,000 images or 1500 minutes of video recording with the borescope can be saved on an SD card. In this way, the recordings from the borescope can be examined again at a later point in time or entered into documentation.
The battery for the videoscope has a capacity of 6400 mAh. This means that the borescope can be used for endoscopy for more than 3 hours. The current battery charge can be read on the battery itself, independently of the borescope, via a five-point diagram. If the battery in the borescope is discharged, it can be connected to a USB-C (PD) interface. The borescope can still be used while charging. Alternatively, the battery can be removed and replaced with a new one so that the boroscope is immediately ready for use again.
The transport case is designed to protect the videoscope during transport to minimize damage. Thanks to the fourfold locking and the rubber coating on the lid, the transport case protects the boroscope from water ingress. For easy transport of the boroscope, there are also wheels on the transport case so that it can be pulled.

The car measuring device was developed for inspections of technical components. With the borescope cable, which is only 3.8 millimeters thick, the current condition of engines, gears, fans, valves and other components can also be visualized and evaluated from the inside. The high-resolution digital camera is arranged in front and has a very large viewing angle of 120 degrees. Six LEDs are placed around the camera, with which the field of view can be illuminated in different brightness levels.
The flexible camera tube has a length of approx. 1.88 meters from the tip where the camera is placed to the thickening in the connection area. The diameter over this length is only 3.8 mm, so that even very small access openings can be used with this industrial boroscope. After the borescope cable has been routed into the area to be examined, the exact position of the camera can be adjusted by pulling, pushing and rotating. In addition, if the current position offers enough room to move, the separately movable camera head can be bent in all directions using a joystick. With this video boroscope it is possible to inspect many details inside components non-destructively. The controllable flexible camera head is 46 millimeters long. When this camera head is bent 90 degrees, it has a bending radius of approximately 35 millimeters.
With this car measuring device with a 1-megapixel camera, the image display format can be set to 1280 x 720 pixels or 640 x 480 pixels. If the user opts for the smaller display with 640x480 pixels, the side edges of the image are not covered by menu symbols that are displayed. The image quality of the saved images can be selected between 480, 720 and 1080 pixels image height. It should be noted that when different formats are selected for the display and image storage, the image sections differ because the format difference means that parts of the image are removed at the top and bottom or on the right and left. On the other hand, the format set for the display is adopted for images that are recorded using the freeze function.
Extensive image markings as one of the highlights of the PCE-VE 1500 series
The current car measuring devices in this series offer convenient options for labeling the images taken. For example, image details can be easily circled or marked with arrows on the touchscreen and text can also be added. The recordings can be evaluated, labeled and clearly assigned directly on site without additional devices. The handling of these video boroscopes is nevertheless very uncomplicated thanks to the joystick, touchscreen and function keys.
The various device models in the series differ only in terms of the resolutions and viewing directions of the cameras and the diameters and lengths of the borescope cables. With a weight of just over two kilograms, the industrial boroscope can be held with one hand for short periods of use. The function keys in the upper area of the handle and the joystick can also be operated with the same hand. However, the hand-held device can also be carried with the shoulder strap, attached to a tripod or placed or hung up next to the inspection point.
Exchangeable boroscope cable with motor
Another special feature of this car measuring device series is the motor for controlling the camera head. Motor, camera cable and camera have been designed as a complete unit so that the connection to the handheld device works quickly and easily. The camera unit can be easily and securely attached to the handset and released again if necessary.
Joystick for camera control
The joystick can be used to change the alignment of the camera head and thus the direction of view of the camera. Operating the joystick bends the moving camera head in the specified direction. In places, bending angles of more than 180 degrees are possible. The joystick is positioned above the handle so that it can be moved with one finger of the hand holding the borescope.
Touchscreen functions
As a touchscreen, the large display allows very easy access to many menus and special functions. Without the touchscreen, some of the functions offered by the industrial borescope would not be possible. This includes, for example, encircling details or placing texts with your finger or a stylus. The display and use of keyboards for text input only works with the touchscreen.
Zoom: The images shown on the display can be digitally enlarged several times. To do this, double-tap the image or pull it apart with two fingers. By moving the image with your finger, not only the enlarged section can be checked directly on the VideoBoroscope, but the complete zoomed image.
Picture-in-picture: The current picture of the examined object can be immediately compared with a stored picture on the industrial boroscope using the picture-in-picture function. By default, the saved image appears large and is overlaid by the smaller live image at the top right. Both images can be zoomed by pulling them apart. By double-tapping the small image, this changes to full-screen display and the previously large image is displayed in small.
Grid: Showing the grid allows targeted comparisons of small image sections. The grid divides the current image on the video borescope into 29 rectangles of equal length and width. If the grid is activated, this is also applied to the saved images.
Watermark: Not only the grid and the time-date stamp for the images, but also user-specific labels can be activated via the Watermark menu on the industrial borescope. The time-date stamp always appears in small red letters in the middle of the bottom edge of the image. Text color, text size and text position can be set for the user-specific picture stamps. On the one hand, they can be used to transfer designations of the examination object to each saved image. On the other hand, they can be used to add comments to saved images.
Mark freeze images: After "freezing" the image by tapping the padlock pictogram on the touchscreen, the VideoBoroscope immediately activates the associated editing menu. When the pen icon is active, simple markings can be drawn on the image with your finger or a stylus. The selected image can then be saved under the current name or as an additional image.
Report function: With the report function, reports can be created as PDFs in DIN A4 format on the industrial borescope. Up to twenty of the stored images can be inserted and captioned into these reports.
Interfaces
The car measuring device is equipped with the following interfaces: USB-A, USB-C, mini-HDMI, audio, WiFi and a memory card slot for SD cards up to 128 GB.

PCE Instruments
This videoscope is the only device in the PCE-VE 1500 series that is equipped with two cameras. One of them faces the front and the other faces the side. Both are positioned very close together on the camera head. An LED is arranged next to each of the cameras, with which the field of view can be illuminated if required. Settings on the endoscope for the image representation on the display and for the lighting of the camera field of view are effective for both cameras and both light sources at the same time.
The user can choose at any time whether the videoscope shows the current image from the front camera, the side camera or both side by side on the large touchscreen display. The simultaneous display of both cameras makes orientation during the visual inspection much easier. In addition, it is advantageous to be able to use both the front and the side camera, especially when space is very limited.
However, pictures and videos cannot be taken simultaneously with both cameras. When recording in the viewing mode in which both cameras can be seen, only the images from the activated camera are saved by the endoscope. If the user has activated image captions, then these only appear on the image of the activated camera. By default, the boroscope offers under the menu item Watermark, for example, overlays such as the date and time or the camera designation as CAM1 or CAM2. When the camera is activated, the selected captions appear in small red font at the edge of the image. If the other camera is to be activated, this is very easy to do with this endoscope via the touchscreen. All you have to do is double-tap on their image in the view in which the images from both cameras are shown side by side.
The flexible endoscope cable, which is only 3.8 mm thick, is approx. 1.87 meters long from the front edge of the camera head to the rubber coating in the connection area. This means that internal surfaces and parts that are only accessible through very narrow openings can also be examined in detail with this boroscope. The camera head, which can be bent in all directions using a joystick, has a length of 42 millimeters and a bending radius of 35 mm at a bending angle of 90 degrees.
Special features of the PCE-VE 1500 series
Each videoscope in this series has the same basic device with extensive functions and useful accessories. The individual models differ only in the different cameras and the lengths and diameters of the camera cables. The operation of these endoscopes is very convenient thanks to the function keys, touchscreen and joystick on the basic device.
With the battery and camera unit, the videoscope weighs just over two kilograms. The device can easily be carried with one hand. Depending on the environment, the shoulder strap, a magnetic holder or a tripod can also be attached to the attachment points provided for longer periods of use. While the endoscope is held with one hand, the joystick and the function keys on the handle can also be operated with the same hand. These function keys include the picture trigger and the light intensity control key for the camera's field of view. The camera cable can be guided with the other hand.
Exchangeable endoscope cable with motor
One of the standard features of these videoscopes is the motorized movement of the camera head. That's why the camera, camera cable and motor are designed as a single unit. This complete camera unit can be easily replaced if necessary. The connection to the basic device of the endoscope can be fixed and released again very easily. To increase durability, the cable is covered with tungsten braid and the tip of the camera head is made of titanium alloy.
Control of the camera head via joystick
The camera head of the videoscope can be moved with the joystick in order to use the camera's angle of view to precisely capture the areas that are to be examined. The movable camera head can be bent in all directions, in places by more than 180 degrees. The joystick is designed and placed between the handle and the display so that it can be easily operated with just one finger.
Touchscreen functions
The videoscope not only shows the current and saved images individually on the seven-inch display. With the picture in picture function, it also allows the current picture to be compared with a saved one. As a touchscreen, the monitor also offers very easy and quick access to the menu functions. The diverse functions that the borescope offers for marking details and placing annotations on the images would hardly be usable without the touchscreen.
The current and saved images can be digitally enlarged several times on the display. All you have to do is double-tap the image or pull it apart with two fingers. If necessary, the enlarged section can be moved with your finger on the touchscreen. This allows the complete image to be checked directly on the endoscope. Important details on saved images can be immediately circled in colour, marked with arrows or labeled on the touchscreen. These tagged images can then be saved under the old name or as additional images.
With the icons for the additional functions, it is possible to operate the videoscope intuitively via the touchscreen. With the help of the picture-in-picture function, for example, the current live picture can be compared with a picture that has just been “frozen” or with a picture that has been saved earlier. By default, the live image appears as a section at the top right. Double tapping it will make it the big picture and the older picture will switch to the top right.
Interfaces
The videoscope has the following connections for data transmission: USB-A, USB-C, HDMI, audio, WiFi and a memory card slot for SD cards up to 128 GB. All interfaces are arranged in the basic device to the left of the touchscreen under a cover.
