<p>The Radiall 616-042 is a DSX series female crimp socket contact designed for use with RG174, RG179, RG188, RG316, and KX22 (AXON TS2619 or P812817) cables. The center contact is made of brass per ASTM B 453/B 453M, while the outer contact is beryllium copper per ASTM-B-196 or equivalent. The ferrule and crimp barrel are brass per ASTM B 16/B 16M, and the insulators are PTFE per ASTM-D-1710 or equivalent. All metallic parts have a 0.00005 inch gold finish over electrodeposited nickel per SAE AMS-2422 and AMS-2403.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Crimping tools are specified for proper installation: center contact uses M22520/2-01 (Radiall P/N 282281) with positioner 282974; outer contact uses M22520/5-01 (Radiall P/N 282293) with die M22520/5-05. The extraction tool is M81969/28-01 (Radiall 282946). This contact is part of the DSX series and is suitable for applications requiring reliable coaxial connections.</p>
