The TCM3105 is a single-chip asynchronous frequency-shift-keying (FSK) voice-band modem manufactured by Taiwan Semiconductor. It is designed to meet both Bell 202 and CCITT V23 specifications.
This FSK modem supports transmit modulation at rates of 75, 150, 600, and 1200 baud. For receiving, it offers demodulation at 5, 75, 150, 600, and 1200 baud. It can operate in half-duplex mode up to 1200 baud for both transmit and receive, and in full-duplex mode up to 1200 baud transmit and 150 baud receive.
The device features on-chip group equalization and transmit/receive filtering. It also includes carrier-detect-level adjustment and a carrier-fail output. The TCM3105 operates from a single 5-V power supply and is built using reliable CMOS silicon-gate technology.
Available in DW and N packages, the TCM3105JE and TCM3105NE variants are characterized for operation from -40°C to 85°C, while the TCM3105DWL, TCM3105JL, and TCM3105NL variants operate from 0°C to 70°C. The DW package is available on tape and reel.
