The Skyworks Solutions SI5345B-B05747-GMR is a versatile 10-channel clock multiplier and jitter attenuator designed for high-performance timing applications. It utilizes advanced DSPLL™ and MultiSynth™ technologies to generate any output frequency from any input frequency while providing exceptional jitter attenuation.
Key features include ultra-low jitter of 90 fs rms, a wide input frequency range from 8 kHz to 750 MHz (differential), and an output frequency range up to 1028 MHz (differential). The device supports various output types including LVDS, LVPECL, LVCMOS, CML, and HCSL, with programmable signal amplitude. It also meets G.8262 EEC Option 1, 2 (SyncE) compliance.
This clock multiplier is programmable via a serial interface with in-circuit programmable non-volatile memory (NVM), ensuring a known frequency configuration on power-up. It supports free-run, synchronous, and holdover modes, along with automatic and manual input clock switching. The integrated loop filter eliminates noise coupling risks associated with discrete solutions.
