The Skyworks Solutions SI5345D-B05731-GMR is a versatile 10-channel clock multiplier and jitter attenuator, utilizing advanced DSPLL™ and MultiSynth™ technologies. It is designed for applications requiring high jitter performance, such as OTN muxponders, 10/40/100 G networking, and Synchronous Ethernet.
This device generates any combination of output frequencies from any input frequency, with ultra-low jitter of 90 fs rms. It supports input frequencies from 8 kHz to 750 MHz (Differential) or 8 kHz to 250 MHz (LVCMOS), and output frequencies from 100 Hz to 1028 MHz (Differential) or 100 Hz to 250 MHz (LVCMOS). The jitter attenuation bandwidth is digitally programmable from 0.1 Hz to 4 kHz.
Outputs are highly configurable and compatible with LVDS, LVPECL, LVCMOS, CML, and HCSL signal types, with programmable signal amplitude. The device features 4 input clocks and up to 10 output clocks. It is programmed via a serial interface with in-circuit programmable non-volatile memory (NVM), ensuring a known frequency configuration on power-up. The device operates in free-run, synchronous, and holdover modes, with automatic and manual input clock switching.
The SI5345D-B05731-GMR is supplied in a 64-QFN package measuring 9x9 mm and is designed for surface mount applications. It meets G.8262 EEC Option 1, 2 (SyncE) compliance.
