The Sensata APL/UPL series APL11-1-72-153 is a legacy hydraulic magnetic circuit breaker designed for reliable power switching and circuit protection. This 2-pole unit offers a 15A current rating and a 277V voltage rating, suitable for various industrial, military, and information processing applications.
Featuring a lever actuator and panel mount design, this circuit breaker provides ON-OFF switch functionality. Upon overload, the internal mechanism trips, opening the contacts and forcibly returning the handle to the OFF position. It is designed to be 'trip free,' ensuring contacts do not remain closed under overload conditions.
This product is recognized by UL per UL STD. 1077 as a supplementary protector and certified by CSA per CSA STD. C22.2–No. 235. Note that this is a legacy product, and no new design-in orders are being accepted. Sensata Technologies recommends the Airpax™ IAL series for new designs.
