The LAPP UNITRONIC® FD CP (TP) plus cable is a highly flexible, screened data transmission cable designed for demanding applications. It features a PUR outer sheath that is resistant to tears, notches, mineral oils, and abrasion, making it suitable for use in power chains and harsh climatic environments.
Key features include low capacitance, halogen-free construction, and flexibility down to -40°C. The twisted pair design helps decouple circuits and reduce crosstalk effects. This cable is designed for 10 million alternating bending cycles and can handle horizontal travel distances up to 100 meters in drag chain applications.
It is suitable for use in measuring, control, and regulating circuits, as well as applications like linear robots and automated handling equipment. The cable also meets flame retardance standards including IEC 60332-1-2, VW-1, and FT2. Its UL AWM voltage rating of 1000V allows for internal laying next to power cables with a similar rating.
The cable's construction includes a tinned-copper braiding and a special PUR compound outer sheath, typically grey in color. It is also resistant to hydrolysis and microbes.
