<p>The Vicor FARM1C21 is a Filter/Autoranging Rectifier Module (FARM) that provides EMI filtering, autoranging line rectification, and inrush current limiting. It is designed for use with Vicor 300V input DC-DC converters to create autoranging, high-density power supplies.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The module delivers 500W output power at 90-132VAC input and 750W at 115/230VAC autoranging. It achieves 96% efficiency and includes a microcontroller for continuous AC line monitoring. The output voltage is 400VDC (DC bus) with a maximum output current of 3.5A. Additional features include a power fail signal and module enable.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The FARM1C21 is housed in a FARM module package measuring 2.28 x 2.2 x 0.5 inches. <p>The Vicor 18364 is an InMate socket set designed for use with Vicor Maxi-sized DC-DC converter modules. It provides a 5 input / 5 output socket configuration, enabling easy through-hole mounting and soldering of the module.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The sockets are soldered into the PCB using a through-hole process, and the carrier is removed after soldering. It supports a nominal board thickness of 0.062 inches (1.5 mm) and uses ModuMate pin style.
