The TE Connectivity TMS-SCE-3/4-2.0-9 is a white, heat shrinkable marker sleeve designed for high-performance wire and cable marking applications. Constructed from durable, flame-retarded, radiation-crosslinked polyolefin, these sleeves meet stringent military specifications for mark permanence, even when exposed to abrasion, cleaning solvents, military fuels, and oils.
Available in both 2:1 and 3:1 shrink ratios, the TMS-SCE series offers flexibility in application. The 2:1 products provide a thick, rugged sleeve wall, while the lightweight 3:1 products ensure fast shrinking and cover a wider range of wire diameters, simplifying inventory management. These sleeves are designed for computer-driven dot matrix or thermal transfer printing, offering advantages in reduced errors, cycle time, and cost.
The marker sleeves are supplied in a flat "ladder" format, held between two hole-punched polyester strips, allowing direct feeding into compatible Tyco printers. A standard heat gun is used to shrink the sleeves onto the wire or cable. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +135°C, with a minimum recovery temperature of +85°C. The sleeves are UL Recognized and CSA Certified.
