The Littelfuse SZP6SMB36CAT3G is a 600W Zener transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode designed to protect voltage-sensitive components from high-energy transients. It is ideal for automotive electronic applications requiring AEC-Q101 qualification and PPAP capability.
Key electrical specifications include a working peak reverse voltage of 30.8V, nominal breakdown voltage of 36V, and maximum clamping voltage of 49.9V at 12A peak pulse current. The device offers peak pulse power dissipation of 600W (10/1000 µs waveform), extremely fast response time of <1 ns, and ESD protection up to 30kV (air and contact) per IEC 61000-4-2. Reverse leakage current is less than 5 µA above 10V.
The TVS diode is supplied in a surface-mount DO-214AA (SMB) package with a lead-free (Sn) terminal finish. It operates over a junction temperature range of -65°C to +150°C and is RoHS and REACH compliant (unverified). The bidirectional configuration provides symmetric protection for AC or bidirectional signal lines.
