The JST SYF-01T-P0.5A is a crimp-style socket contact designed for use with the YLN series of wire-to-wire connectors. It features a tin-plated phosphor bronze contact material and is rated for 10 A AC/DC (7 A when retainers are mounted) with a maximum voltage rating of 300 V AC/DC.
This contact accommodates wire gauges from 20 to 26 AWG and provides a maximum initial contact resistance of 7 mΩ. The operating temperature range is -25°C to +90°C, which includes temperature rise from electrical current. The contact is RoHS2 compliant.
The YLN connector system incorporates an inertial force mechanism to ensure complete mating and prevent incomplete connections. The SYF-01T-P0.5A contact is suitable for applications requiring reliable, disconnectable wire-to-wire connections in a 4.5 mm pitch format.
