The Samtec SSW-116-01-S-D is a 32 position, 2 row receptacle connector designed for board-to-board or cable applications. It features a 2.54mm pitch and 2.54mm row spacing, making it suitable for compact PCB layouts. The connector uses through hole mounting with solder termination for reliable mechanical and electrical connections.
This connector is rated for 4.7A per contact (2 pins powered) and a voltage rating of 465VAC / 655VDC. The operating temperature range is -55°C to 125°C, allowing use in harsh environments. The insulation is made of black liquid crystal polymer with a flammability rating of UL94 V-0. Contacts are phosphor bronze with tin plating (30.0µin thickness) for good conductivity and solderability.
The push-pull fastening type ensures secure mating, and the connector is rated for 100 mating cycles with gold plating option. The insertion depth ranges from 3.68mm to 6.35mm. This connector is part of the SSW series and is compatible with mating headers like TSW, MTSW, and others. It is lead-free solderable for the -S and -D row options.
