The SS24T3G is a Schottky power rectifier from ON Semiconductor featuring a maximum DC blocking voltage of 40V and an average rectified current of 2A. It offers a low forward voltage drop of 500mV at 2A, enabling high efficiency in low-voltage applications. The diode is designed for fast switching with a recovery time of less than 500ns.
The device is housed in a surface-mount SMB package (DO-214AA) and is supplied in tape and reel packaging with 2500 units per reel. It supports a junction operating temperature range of -55°C to 150°C. The component is RoHS compliant and lead-free.
Typical applications include low-voltage high-frequency switching power supplies, free-wheeling diodes, and polarity protection circuits. The guardring design provides over-voltage protection. The NRVB variants (NRVBSS24T3G, NRVBSS24NT3G) are qualified to AEC-Q101 for automotive use.
