The Vishay Dale SMAJ550HE3_A/I is a surface-mount Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) diode designed to protect sensitive electronics from voltage transients. It features a glass-passivated chip junction for excellent clamping capability and a very fast response time.
This device is available in unidirectional polarity and is suitable for applications requiring protection against inductive load switching and lighting surges. Key electrical characteristics include a breakdown voltage range of 530V to 550V, a working voltage of 477V or 495V, and a peak pulse power rating of 300W. It also offers a typical capacitance of 90pF at 1MHz.
