The Skyworks Solutions SI5341B-D09700-GM is a versatile, high-performance clock generator featuring proprietary MultiSynth™ fractional synthesizer technology. This device is capable of synthesizing a wide range of frequencies up to 1 GHz on 10 differential clock outputs, delivering sub-100 fs rms phase jitter.
Key features include the ability to generate any combination of output frequencies from any input frequency, with ultra-low jitter of 90 fs rms. Input frequency ranges include 25 to 54 MHz for external crystals, 10 to 750 MHz for differential clocks, and 10 to 250 MHz for LVCMOS clocks. Output frequencies can range from 100 Hz to 1028 MHz for differential outputs and 100 Hz to 250 MHz for LVCMOS outputs.
The outputs are highly configurable and compatible with LVDS, LVPECL, LVCMOS, CML, and HCSL standards, with programmable signal amplitude. This flexibility allows the Si5341/40 to replace multiple clock ICs and oscillators, acting as a true "clock tree on a chip."
The Si5341B-D09700-GM is available in a 64-QFN package. It can be programmed via I2C and SPI serial interfaces or pre-programmed using ClockBuilderPro software.
