The KEMET R46KI3560JBN0K is a metallized polypropylene film capacitor designed for electromagnetic interference (EMI) suppression in across-the-line applications requiring X2 safety classification per IEC 60384-14. It has a nominal capacitance of 0.56 µF with ±10% tolerance and a rated voltage of 275 VAC at 50/60 Hz. The capacitor operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +110°C (climatic category 40/110/56).
The dielectric is self-healing metallized polypropylene, encapsulated in a UL 94 V-0 rated box with self-extinguishing resin. The component features radial through-hole leads with a lead spacing of 15 mm and a lead length of 3.5 mm. It is delivered in bulk (bag) packaging.
Safety approvals include ENEC, UL, cUL, and CQC. Each unit undergoes 100% screening factory test at 2,200 VDC / 1,500 VAC. Terminations are lead-free and the capacitor is RoHS compliant.
