The PMEG6020ETR is a planar Schottky barrier rectifier diode designed for high efficiency rectification in low voltage applications. It is rated for a maximum average forward current of 2 A and a reverse voltage of 60 V. The forward voltage is typically 460 mV at 2 A, contributing to low conduction losses.
This diode is encapsulated in a small and flat lead SOD123W SMD plastic package, suitable for automated assembly. It incorporates an integrated guard ring for stress protection and uses clip-bonding technology for high power capability. The device can operate at junction temperatures up to 175 °C.
Typical applications include low voltage rectification, high efficiency DC-to-DC conversion, switch mode power supplies, and reverse polarity protection. The fast recovery time (8.5 ns) and low capacitance (240 pF) make it suitable for high frequency switching circuits.
