The PMEG6020ELRX is a 60V, 2A Schottky barrier rectifier from Nexperia, designed for low voltage rectification and high efficiency DC-to-DC conversion. It features a planar Schottky barrier with an integrated guard ring for stress protection, housed in a small and flat lead SOD-123W (CFP3) surface-mount package. Key electrical characteristics include a forward voltage of typically 690 mV (760 mV maximum) at 2A, extremely low reverse leakage current of 90 nA typical (300 nA maximum) at 60V, and a junction capacitance of 110 pF typical at 1V. The diode can withstand a non-repetitive peak forward current of 50A and operates with a junction temperature up to 175°C. Thermal management is supported with a maximum power dissipation of 680 mW on a standard FR4 PCB and a junction-to-ambient thermal resistance of 220 K/W. The marking code is K2. Applications include low voltage rectification, high efficiency DC-to-DC conversion, switch mode power supply, reverse polarity protection, and low power consumption designs.
