The PMEG3010BEA is a planar MEGA Schottky barrier rectifier designed for high efficiency and low power consumption. It has a forward current rating of 1 A (Tsp ≤ 55°C) and a reverse voltage of 30 V. The typical forward voltage is 450 mV at 1 A, with a maximum of 560 mV. Reverse leakage current is 40 µA typical and 150 µA maximum at 30 V. The device can operate at a junction temperature up to 150 °C and is stored between -65 °C and 150 °C. Thermal resistance is 450 K/W (junction to ambient on FR4 PCB) and 90 K/W (junction to solder point).
Encapsulated in a very small SOD323 plastic surface-mount package (1.7 mm x 1.25 mm x 0.95 mm body, 1.3 mm lead pitch, 2 leads), the PMEG3010BEA is suitable for space-constrained designs. An integrated guard ring provides stress protection.
Typical applications include high efficiency DC-to-DC conversion, voltage clamping, protection circuits, low voltage rectification, and blocking diodes. The MEGA (Maximum Efficiency General Application) technology ensures low forward voltage drop, reducing power losses.
