The PMEG3005AEA,115 is a planar MEGA Schottky barrier rectifier from Nexperia, designed for very low forward voltage and high efficiency. It is rated for a maximum reverse voltage of 30V and continuous forward current of 500mA, with a typical forward voltage of only 380 mV at 500 mA. The device can handle repetitive peak currents up to 3.5A and non-repetitive surge currents up to 10A.
The diode is qualified to AEC-Q101 for automotive applications and is suitable for low voltage rectification, high efficiency DC/DC conversion, voltage clamping, and reverse polarity protection. Its low forward voltage reduces power dissipation and improves system efficiency in battery-powered and low-voltage designs.
The device is housed in a SOD-323 (SC-76) surface-mount package measuring 1.7 mm x 1.25 mm x 0.95 mm with a 1.3 mm lead pitch.
