The PMEG10020AELRX is a planar Schottky barrier rectifier from Nexperia, designed for low voltage rectification and high efficiency DC-DC conversion. It integrates a guard ring for stress protection and is encapsulated in a SOD123W small and flat lead Surface-Mounted Device (SMD) plastic package.
Key electrical specifications include a maximum reverse voltage of 100 V, an average forward current of 2 A (with square wave at 20 kHz and 50% duty cycle), a forward voltage of 710 mV typical (770 mV maximum at 2 A), and an extremely low reverse current of 70 nA typical (300 nA maximum at 100 V). The device features a fast recovery time of 5 ns (typical) and a junction capacitance of 135 pF typical at 1 V and 1 MHz.
The rectifier is rated for operating junction temperatures up to 175 °C and a power dissipation of 680 mW on standard FR4 PCB footprint. It can handle non-repetitive peak forward current up to 50 A (8.3 ms half sine wave) and repetitive peak forward current up to 30 A. The package is a SOD123W with flat leads, making it suitable for automated surface mount assembly.
Typical applications include low voltage rectification, high efficiency DC-DC conversion, switch mode power supplies, reverse polarity protection, and low power consumption circuits.
