The PESD5V2S2UT,215 is a unidirectional double ESD protection diode designed by Nexperia. It protects up to two transmission or data lines from electrostatic discharge (ESD) damage. The device features a maximum reverse standoff voltage of 5.2V at 25°C and a typical clamping voltage of 20V at 15A peak pulse current (8/20µs waveform). Peak pulse power is rated at 260W for 8/20µs pulses. Reverse leakage current is extremely low, less than 150nA at rated standoff voltage. Diode capacitance is 152pF typical and 200pF maximum at 1MHz with zero bias.
The component meets IEC 61000-4-2 level 4 ESD protection with over 30kV contact discharge and 15kV air discharge. It also complies with IEC 61000-4-5 surge protection at 15A. The device is housed in a standard SOT23 (TO-236AB) surface mount package with 3 terminals and a 1.9mm pitch. Body dimensions are 2.9mm x 1.3mm x 1mm. The common anode configuration allows easy integration into circuits requiring two-channel protection. Suitable for general purpose applications including computers, communication systems, audio/video equipment, and high-speed data lines.
