The Nexperia PESD5V0S1USF,315 is a unidirectional ElectroStatic Discharge (ESD) protection diode designed to protect one signal line from damage caused by ESD and other transients. It is encapsulated in a leadless super small DSN0603-2 (SOD962) Surface-Mounted Device (SMD) package, making it suitable for space-constrained applications.
Key electrical characteristics include a reverse standoff voltage of 5V, a clamping voltage of 11V, and a peak pulse current of 3.5A (8/20µs exponential decay waveform). The device offers ESD protection up to 30kV contact and air discharge per IEC 61000-4-2, meeting level 4 requirements. It also provides ultra-low leakage current below 1nA and a typical diode capacitance of 35pF at 1MHz.
This diode is ideal for general purpose ESD protection in computers and peripherals, communication systems, audio and video equipment, portable electronics, and cellular handsets. The operating temperature range is -55°C to 150°C.
