The PESD5V0S1BA,115 is a low capacitance bidirectional ESD protection diode from Nexperia, designed to protect one signal line from electrostatic discharge and other transients. It features a reverse stand-off voltage of 5V, a clamping voltage of 14V at 12A peak pulse current (8/20µs), and a peak pulse power of 130W. The device offers ultra low leakage current of 5nA and a low diode capacitance of 35pF at 1MHz, making it suitable for high-speed data lines.
With an ESD rating of 30kV (contact discharge per IEC 61000-4-2), it provides robust protection for sensitive electronics. The diode is housed in a surface mount SOD-323 package and operates over a wide temperature range of -65°C to 150°C. It is RoHS3 compliant and has an MSL of 1 (unlimited).
Typical applications include cellular handsets, portable electronics, communication systems, audio and video equipment, and computers and peripherals. The bidirectional configuration allows easy integration without concern for polarity.
