The Nexperia PESD5V0F1BL-QYL is a femtofarad bidirectional ElectroStatic Discharge (ESD) protection diode. It is housed in an ultra-small SOD882 surface-mounted device (SMD) plastic package, designed to safeguard one signal line from ESD damage and other transients.
Key features include a low diode capacitance of 400 fF at 1 MHz and a reverse standoff voltage of 5.5 V. The device offers robust ESD protection up to 10 kV, meeting IEC 61000-4-2 level 4 standards. It also boasts a low clamping voltage of 30 V at 8 kV and very low leakage current of less than 1 nA.
Qualified according to AEC-Q101, this diode is recommended for automotive applications. Its combination of extremely low capacitance, high ESD maximum rating, and ultra-small package makes it ideal for protecting high-speed data lines and antennas.
