The PESD4V0X1BESFYL is a very low capacitance bidirectional ElectroStatic Discharge (ESD) protection diode from Nexperia, part of the TrEOS protection family. It is designed to protect a single signal line from ESD and other transients. The device is housed in a DSN0603-2 (SOD962-2) leadless ultra small SMD package measuring 0.6mm x 0.3mm x 0.3mm.
Key specifications include a reverse standoff voltage of 4V, typical breakdown voltage of 4.8V, and a very low diode capacitance of 0.9pF at 1MHz. The device can handle peak pulse current of 15A (8/20µs) and provides ESD protection up to ±30kV contact and air discharge per IEC 61000-4-2. Operating temperature range is -40°C to 125°C.
