The Nexperia PESD3V3Z1BSFYL is an extremely low capacitance bidirectional ElectroStatic Discharge (ESD) protection diode, part of the TrEOS protection family. It is housed in an ultra-small DSN0603-2 (SOD962-2) leadless Surface-Mounted Device (SMD) package, designed to protect one signal line from damage caused by ESD and other transients.
Key features include bidirectional ESD protection of one line, extremely low diode capacitance of 0.28 pF, and very low clamping voltage to protect sensitive I/Os. It provides ESD protection up to 20 kV according to IEC 61000-4-2 and can handle a maximum peak pulse current of 9.5 A (8/20 μs).
This device is suitable for applications such as cellular handsets and accessories, portable electronics, communication systems, and computers and peripherals. The reverse standoff voltage is 3.3 V, with a clamping voltage of 5.3 V. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 125°C.
The PESD3V3Z1BSFYL is mounted using the surface mount technique and comes in the DSN0603-2 package, also referred to as 0201 (0603 Metric).
