The Nexperia PESD3V3U1UB is a unidirectional ElectroStatic Discharge (ESD) protection diode designed to safeguard one signal line from ESD and other transient overvoltage events. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 3.3V maximum and an ultra-low diode capacitance of 2.6pF typical (3.1pF maximum), measured at 1MHz. The device provides ESD protection up to 9kV contact discharge per IEC 61000-4-2 and 10kV HBM per MIL-STD-883.
This diode is AEC-Q101 qualified, making it suitable for automotive applications. It is supplied in an ultra-small, flat lead SOD523 (SC-79) surface-mount plastic package, ideal for space-constrained designs. The very low leakage current of 1nA typical ensures minimal power loss in standby or battery-powered systems.
Typical applications include USB interfaces, cellular handsets, Ethernet ports, portable electronics, FireWire, communication systems, high-speed data lines, computers and peripherals, SIM card protection, and audio/video equipment.
