The PESD2CANFD27V-TR is a bidirectional TVS diode designed for ESD protection of two automotive in-vehicle network bus lines. It is housed in a small SOT23 (TO-236AB) surface-mount package. Key electrical characteristics include a reverse standoff voltage of 27V, a typical clamping voltage of 33V at 1A (maximum 44V), and a peak pulse current rating of 2.5A (8/20µs waveform). The device offers ESD protection up to 20kV contact discharge per IEC 61000-4-2 and ISO 10605. With a low capacitance of 6pF, it is suitable for high-speed data lines such as CAN-FD, CAN, FlexRay, and SENT. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +175°C, and it is AEC-Q101 qualified for automotive applications.
