The PESD24VS1UB,115 from Nexperia is a unidirectional ESD protection diode designed to safeguard one transmission or data line from electrostatic discharge (ESD) and other transient events. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 24 V and a maximum clamping voltage of 70 V at peak pulse current. The device can handle peak pulse currents up to 3 A (8/20 µs waveform) with a peak pulse power rating of 160 W.
This diode offers ultra low leakage current of 700 nA typical, ensuring minimal power loss in sensitive circuits. With ESD protection exceeding 30 kV (IEC 61000-4-2 contact discharge), it meets Level 4 requirements for robust system protection. The capacitance is 23 pF typical at 1 MHz, making it suitable for high-speed data lines.
