PESD1CAN is a dual bidirectional Zener TVS diode designed specifically for protecting two automotive Controller Area Network (CAN) bus lines from electrostatic discharge (ESD) and other transients. It integrates two diodes in a single SOT-23 (TO-236AB) surface-mount package, saving board space.\n\nKey electrical specifications include a maximum reverse standoff voltage of 24 V, typical clamping voltage of 40 V at 1 A (8/20 µs pulse), and a peak pulse current rating of 3 A (8/20 µs) with a peak pulse power of 200 W. The device features ultra-low leakage current of less than 1 nA and a typical diode capacitance of 11 pF at 1 MHz, with capacitance matching of 0.1% between channels.\n\nESD protection meets IEC 61000-4-2 level 4 with contact discharge capability up to 23 kV, and MIL-STD-883 human body model up to 10 kV. The device operates over a junction temperature range of -65°C to 150°C.
