The PESD12VV1BL is a very low capacitance bidirectional ElectroStatic Discharge (ESD) protection diode designed by Nexperia. It protects one signal line from ESD and other transients. Key specifications include a reverse standoff voltage of 12V, a low diode capacitance of 17 pF typical, and a peak pulse power of 290W (8/20 µs). The device offers ESD protection up to 30 kV (contact discharge per IEC 61000-4-2) and a peak pulse current of 7.8A.
This diode is housed in a leadless ultra small DFN1006-2 (SOD882) surface-mount plastic package with dimensions 1 mm x 0.6 mm x 0.48 mm. It has a marking code of 'MW' and operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 150°C. The ultra low leakage current of 1 nA makes it suitable for battery-powered portable electronics.
