The Nexperia PESD12VS1ULD-QYL is a unidirectional ElectroStatic Discharge (ESD) protection diode engineered to shield a single signal line from damage caused by ESD events and other transients. This device is housed in an ultra-small SOD882D leadless SMD plastic package with solderable side pads, making it suitable for space-constrained applications.
Key electrical characteristics include a reverse standoff voltage of 12V and a low clamping voltage of 19V. It offers robust ESD protection up to 30kV (contact discharge) and can handle a peak pulse current of 5A (8/20µs waveform), with a maximum peak pulse power rating of 150W. The diode exhibits an ultra-low leakage current of less than 1nA.
Designed for reliability, the PESD12VS1ULD-QYL is qualified according to AEC-Q101 and recommended for automotive applications. Its compact DFN1006D-2 package (SOD882D) measures 1mm x 0.6mm x 0.4mm with a 0.65mm pitch and features side-wettable flanks for enhanced solder joint inspection. The operating temperature range is -55°C to 150°C.
