The PESD12VS1UB,115 is a unidirectional ESD protection diode manufactured by Nexperia in a SOD523 package. It is designed to protect a single transmission or data line from electrostatic discharge and other transients.
This device features a reverse standoff voltage of 12V and a clamping voltage of 35V at 5A peak pulse current (8/20µs). It can handle a maximum peak pulse power of 180W under the same pulse condition. The typical diode capacitance is 38pF at 1MHz, making it suitable for high-speed data lines. The leakage current is ultra low at less than 700nA.
ESD protection is rated up to 30kV contact discharge per IEC 61000-4-2, exceeding level 4 requirements. Typical applications include computers and peripherals, communication systems, audio and video equipment, and CAN bus protection.
The device operates over a wide temperature range from -65°C to 150°C and comes in a compact SOD-523 surface mount package.
