The PDT006A0X3-SRZ is a 6A non-isolated point-of-load (PoL) DC-DC converter module from ABB Power Electronics, part of the PicoDLynx series. It operates over a 3V to 14.4V input range and delivers a precisely regulated output from 0.45V to 5.5V via digital PMBus adjustment, or from 0.6V to 5.5V using an external resistor.
This module features a digital PMBus interface for control and monitoring, including remote On/Off, power good signal, and voltage margining. The Tunable Loop feature allows engineers to optimize dynamic response with reduced output capacitance. The switching frequency is fixed with capability for external synchronization.
Protection features include output overcurrent (non-latching) and overtemperature protection. Typical efficiency reaches 93.8%. The module comes in a compact 12.2mm x 12.2mm x 7.25mm 17-SMD surface-mount package and operates over a -40°C to 85°C temperature range.
