The Apex Tool Group PA13 is a 15A, 100V power operational amplifier housed in a 12-pin PowerSIP package. It is designed for driving resistive, inductive, and capacitive loads such as motors, transducers, and programmable power supplies.
This amplifier operates with supply voltages from ±10V to ±45V and features Class A/B output for optimum linearity, especially at low signal levels. It includes user-programmable current limit resistors for safe operating area control and is internally compensated for all gain settings. The PA13 boasts low thermal resistance (1.1°C/W) and current foldover protection.
Target applications include robotics, gimbal positioning, test instruments, valve control, magnetic resonance imaging, flight control actuators, and wire bonding. For continuous operation under load, a heatsink of proper rating is recommended. The PA13A variant offers enhanced performance in offset voltage, offset current, and bias current.
