The NX30P0121UKZ from NXP Semiconductors is an advanced 3A unidirectional power switch. It operates within a wide supply voltage range of 2.5V to 20V and features a low typical ON resistance of 54mΩ. This device is designed to automatically isolate power switch terminals during fault conditions, incorporating Undervoltage Lockout (UVLO), Overvoltage Lockout (OVLO), and over-temperature protection circuits.
The NX30P0121UKZ includes an adjustable OVLO threshold with a default internal 14.5V setting. It also features slew rate control for inrush current limiting and an ISNS pin for monitoring input current. The switch is enabled via an external EN pin, with a low state putting the device into shutdown mode. Both VIN and VOUT pins have a 29V tolerance in shutdown mode.
