The Nexperia NUP1301-QR is an ultra-low capacitance ElectroStatic Discharge (ESD) protection array. It is designed to safeguard a single signal line in a rail-to-rail configuration from damage caused by ESD and other transient events. This device features a very low diode capacitance of 0.6 pF, making it suitable for high-speed signal lines.
Key electrical characteristics include ESD protection up to 30 kV (IEC 61000-4-2 level 4), a peak pulse current of 11 A at 8/20 µs, and a repetitive peak reverse voltage of 80 V. The operating temperature range is -55°C to 150°C.
This ESD protection array is housed in a compact SOT23 (TO-236AB) surface-mounted device (SMD) plastic package. Its small footprint and surface-mount capability make it ideal for integration into space-constrained designs. The device is qualified according to AEC-Q101 and recommended for automotive applications.
Applications for the NUP1301-QR include telecommunication networks, video line protection, microcontroller protection, I²C-bus protection, antenna power supply, analog audio, and Class-D amplifiers.
