The MURA140T3G is an ultra-fast recovery rectifier diode from onsemi, designed for high voltage, high frequency rectification applications. It features a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 400V and an average rectified forward current of 2A at a lead temperature of 125°C. The reverse recovery time is a fast 65ns, enabling efficient switching in power supplies and freewheeling circuits.
The forward voltage is typically 1.1V at 1A (25°C) and has a maximum of 0.89V at 1A and 150°C, reducing conduction losses at elevated temperatures. The device can handle a non-repetitive peak surge current of 35A. It offers built-in ESD protection with a Human Body Model rating above 4000V (Class 3) and Charged Device Model above 1000V (Class C5).
The diode is housed in a compact surface mount DO-214AC (SMA) package with J-bend leads, suitable for automated assembly. It is supplied on tape and reel with a standard quantity of 5000 pieces. The part is Pb-free, halogen free, and RoHS compliant.
