The MSTAR MST719DU-LF is a high-quality ASIC designed for NTSC/PAL/SECAM and HDMI LCD-TV applications. This LCD TV Processor IC integrates functions such as 2D comb filter decoding and 2De-Interlacing, along with a microcontroller.
It receives analog NTSC/PAL/SECAM CVBS and S-Video inputs, as well as analog RGB and YCbCr. The device features automatic gain control (AGC) and 10-bit 3-channel A/D converters for high-resolution video quantization. Automatic video source and mode detection simplify signal source adjustments.
Key features include support for multiple CVBS and S-video inputs, Closed-caption, V-chip, and Teletext. The color engine offers brightness, contrast, saturation, and hue adjustments. It also includes a 9-tap programmable FIR filter, spatial noise reduction, and transient improvement for both luminance and chrominance.
The MST719DU-LF supports digital panels up to 1366x768 resolution with a pixel clock output of up to 150MHz. It is housed in an LQFP 128 package.
