The Texas Instruments MSP430F2131IPW is a 16-bit mixed-signal microcontroller from the MSP430 family, optimized for ultra-low power consumption in portable measurement applications. It features a 16-bit RISC CPU with a 62.5-ns instruction cycle time, enabling wake-up from low-power modes in less than 1 μs.

Key electrical specifications include 8KB of Flash memory, 256B of RAM, and an operating frequency of up to 16MHz. The device supports a low supply voltage range of 1.8 V to 3.6 V.
