The Artesyn Embedded Power MP6-2E-2E-22 is a dual-output AC/DC converter from the MP Series, delivering 800W total power. Each of the two outputs provides 5V at 60A, with an efficiency of 85% typical. The converter accepts a universal input range of 85-264 VAC (47-440 Hz) or 120-350 VDC, and includes active power factor correction meeting EN61000-3-2 harmonic distortion standards.
This chassis-mount unit features forced air cooling with a field-replaceable low-noise fan, and operates from -20°C to 50°C (derating linearly to 50% at 70°C). It includes comprehensive protection and monitoring features such as overload protection on all outputs, remote sense on outputs greater than 2A, current sharing on outputs 10A or greater, global DC OK and input OK signals with status LEDs, and global/individual module inhibit/enable. The MP6-2E-2E-22 is approved to CB, CE, CSA, UL, and VDE standards and is suitable for ITE (commercial) and medical applications.
