The Artesyn MP6-2B-2D-4LE-00 is an 800W enclosed AC to DC converter offering four isolated outputs. It accepts a universal input of 85-264 VAC or 120-350 VDC with a frequency range of 47-440 Hz. The converter achieves up to 85% efficiency and features active power factor correction (typical 0.99) meeting EN61000-3-2 harmonic distortion requirements. It includes a standard CISPR 22 EMI filter with optional EN55022 Level B low leakage filter for medical applications. Holdover storage is 20 ms minimum and AC OK warning is provided 5 ms before output loss. The converter operates from -20°C to 50°C (derating linearly to 50% at 70°C) and stores from -40°C to 85°C. Cooling is provided by an internal DC fan (field-replaceable) with an optional customer-provided air version. Mounting is chassis mount in an enclosed metal case. Special features include current sharing on outputs ≥10A, remote sense on outputs >2A, overload protection, voltage adjustment, margining on single output modules, global and individual inhibit/enable, input and DC OK status LEDs and signals, and an isolated 5V bias voltage. The converter is approved to CB, CE, CSA, UL, and VDE and complies with EN60950 isolation. It is suitable for both ITE (commercial) and medical applications with the low leakage option.
