The Artesyn MP1-1L-1L-1L-1L-1L-00 is a 1200W enclosed AC/DC converter designed for commercial ITE and medical applications. It accepts a universal input of 85-264 VAC or 120-350 VDC with a frequency range of 47-440 Hz. Active power factor correction (PFC) with 0.99 typical meets EN61000-3-2 harmonic standards. Typical efficiency is 70-80% at full load.
The converter provides five outputs at 12V with a total output current of 17A. Each output is adjustable ±10% minimum, and single output modules support margining of ±4-6% nominal. Features include remote sense, standby output, global inhibit/enable (TTL compatible), and an AC OK early warning signal ( >5 ms before loss of regulation). Holdover storage is 20 ms minimum independent of input voltage.
Thermally, the unit operates from -20°C to 50°C (start at 0°C) with derating to 50% at 70°C. Storage temperature is -40°C to +85°C. Cooling is via internal DC fan or customer-provided air. Dimensions are 279.4 mm x 203.2 mm x 63.5 mm (11" x 8" x 2.5"), chassis mount, enclosed package. It meets shock/vibration per MIL-HDBK-810E and humidity up to 95% non-condensing. EMI filtering complies with CISPR 22/EN55022 Level B (standard), with a low leakage option (EN55022 Level B, 300 µA max leakage). Isolation meets EN60950.
