MDSM-DTR-20-25

The Littelfuse MDSM-DTR-20-25 is a miniature, surface-mount changeover reed switch featuring a glass envelope measuring 14.73mm long by 2.54mm in diameter. This switch is designed for applications requiring reliable switching of up to 175Vdc at a maximum power of 5W. It offers a contact resistance of less than 100 milliohms and an insulation resistance of at least 10^9 ohms.

With an SPDT (Single-Pole, Double-Throw) contact form, this reed switch is suitable for various sensing and control applications. It operates within a temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. The surface mount termination style and gull wing lead form are designed for compatibility with modern PCB assembly processes.

Key electrical specifications include a switching current of 0.25A and a carry current of 1.5A. The switch has an operate time of 0.7 ms and a release time of 1 ms. Its hermetically sealed contacts ensure protection from the external environment, and zero operating power is required for contact closure, making it excellent for switching low-level logic loads.
