The MAX1796EUA+T is a high-efficiency, step-up DC-DC converter designed for portable hand-held devices. It features Maxim's True Shutdown circuitry, which fully disconnects the output from the input in shutdown mode, improving efficiency and eliminating the need for an external Schottky diode.
